We got so much rain this last weekend that, in the higher elevations, it was a winter wonderland. Mt. Charleston got over 17 inches of snow! The mountains were beautiful from the valley below. With the Las Vegas valley being surrounded by mountains, you could see the snow capped mountains from any directions that you looked. I find myself taking the beauty of the mountains for granted!
