Park City, Utah - Day 5

What a BLAST!!!! Today we decided to get full day passes to the Park City Mountain Resort. We spent the day going down the Alpine Slide, Alpine Coaster, Zip Line, etc. For the slide and zip, we rode the ski lift to the top of the mountain. The slide was lots of fun, but I have to say that the Zip Line was my favorite. After you get strapped in, you have to push your legs out in front of you against a 'trap door'. Once the button is pushed, the trap door opens and you go flying down the mountain. The anticipation of when the door will open is one of the best parts. We must have gone down 5 times.

Bill's hat flew off when we were going down the slide once so we were one a mission to try to retrieve it as we went down again - no luck. The Alpine Coaster is very much like a roller coaster.

Everyone gets their own car and you chug up the mountain in your coaster car. At the top, push the handles down and away you go. I personally had to put my brakes on for this one. Whipping around the corners got me a little nervous. After about 8 hours of riding (and stopping for lunch mid-way), we had to call it a day. It was great fun and would definitely recommend just forking over the money for the full day pass if anyone visits this place again! There were other things to do at the park (mini-golfing, trampoline, merry-go-round, human maze, etc.) but we never found the time to do them. We did take the ski lift all of the way to the top of the mountain for the scenic ride. It is beautiful from the top!
