As a finalle to our trip in Park City, we had to do some hiking. We normally do a lot of hiking around Red Rock Canyon and Mt. Charleston around Las Vegas so it's a treat to be able to hike up in the mountains. We drove about 30 miles south of Park City to Sundance. Our goal was to hike to the
Stewart Cascades (waterfalls). Well, we were told that it is an easy two miles in and another two miles out. OMG!!!! This was one of the hardest trails that we've ever hiked. We were climbing up and up with no end in sight. Everyone we passed kept telling us that the falls are only 10 minutes ahead. How can that be??? We'd been walking yet everyone kept telling us there's only 10 minutes more. Maybe the frequent stops had something to do with it? Hmmmm... Anyway, we finally made it to the majestic waterfalls and I must say, they were beautiful! The water was SOOOO cold! Our feet were numb in a matter of seconds, but we couldn't resist. We climbed up about midway into the waterfall. It was a bit unnerving so I could only stand to be up there a few minutes.

We had tons of fun and complained the entire time. At one point we were ready to offer $1000 for a helicopter to rescue us out of there! Our legs were so sore and we were FILTHY! We are definitely not in shape to be doing that kind of hiking.
Well, that ends our trip to Park City. We head back to Las Vegas in the morning. We've had fun, but we've also decided that this is probably a place we wouldn't visit again. There's too many adventures and other destinations out there that await us!
