Ciara's going to High School!

Well, it's official. Ciara will be going to Northwest Career and Technical Academy for high school. We feel very lucky and blessed that she got accepted and was chosen to attend. Only about 400 out of 1500 applicants get chosen. At this high school, students choose a specialty area. Her first choice was medical (due to the fact that her last career choice is orthodonics); however, she got into the program that was her second choice - teaching. I couldn't talk her out of it! (Just kidding - I've been lucky in my job!) Ciara has several friends from middle school that will also be going to at least she'll be among good company. That is always the scary part in the beginning - meeting all of the new students. She is doing so well in middle school that we hope it continues through high school.
