Dutch Oven Cookin'

Tonight we went over to the Hybarger's for dinner. Bill had worked on their computer and their 'payment' to him was to make a dutch oven dinner. We brought over some yummy appetizers to start with ~ apples with pumpkin dip, seafood pastry rounds, and baked onion dip with crackers.

Jeff and Joanne made a yummy dinner which he made in three different dutch ovens. He made some chicken breasts with bacon and onions, cheesy potatoes, and for dessert we had pineapple upside down cake. Jeff cooks it all in the backyard on a dutch oven table that he made.

The best surprise of all was their Christmas gift to us ~ our very own dutch oven! We can't wait to try it out. What will we make first???

We finished the night out by playing a game together - a guessing game with clue words and actions. We had a good time and I am blessed to work with Jeff. They are a really great family!
